Ask Claude or ChatGPT if a physician can see you today

Every TeleDirectMD visit is with a physician. I'm Parth Bhavsar, MD, board-certified in family medicine, and I built the practice around one flat price and a doctor on every video visit.

This connector lets your AI assistant check three things from the practice's own data: whether we see patients in your state, what we treat by video, and when the next visit opens. When you're ready, it sends you to teledirectmd.com to book.

In Claude

Open Customize, then Connectors.
Click + Add and choose Add custom connector.
Name it TeleDirectMD and paste the server URL.

In ChatGPT

Open Plugins, select the + button, then Add custom MCP server.
Name it TeleDirectMD, paste the server URL, and choose No authentication.
Review the warning, select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.

Custom servers aren't available on every ChatGPT plan.

No account or sign-in. Setup is easiest on a computer. To check it worked, ask the first question under Things to ask.

If it doesn't work

Make sure the connector is turned on for this chat. Assistants often list connectors in the tools menu under the message box.
Check the URL ends in /mcp and has no spaces. Copy it again with the button above.
Some plans don't allow custom connectors. You can still book directly on teledirectmd.com.

"Can I see a doctor by video today if I'm in Georgia, and what does it cost?"
"Which insurance plans are in-network in Ohio?"
"When is the next open visit this week?"

Whatever you tell your assistant about symptoms stays in your chat. The connector only ever receives a state and a number of days, and it never books, cancels or charges anything.

Not for emergencies

If you have severe symptoms, call 911 or go to an emergency department now. TeleDirectMD does not provide emergency care, sees adults 18 and older, and does not prescribe controlled substances.

The connector returns general practice information. It is not medical advice, and using it does not create a physician-patient relationship. Anything an AI assistant says about your health comes from the assistant, not from TeleDirectMD or its physician. Open times are not reserved until booking is completed on teledirectmd.com, and in-network status does not guarantee coverage.

For reviewers and partners

Remote MCP server over stateless Streamable HTTP. No authentication: every tool returns public practice information only.
All three tools are read-only, annotated readOnlyHint: true and destructiveHint: false.
No tool accepts free text, so no health information can reach the server. Logs record error types only, never request content.
Booking, intake and payment stay on TeleDirectMD's own HIPAA-compliant pages. The practice is LegitScript certified.
